Back to Basics tells the story of the successful Herenboeren initiative in Boxtel, where a dedicated group of citizens embraced the idea that it should be possible to collectively own a farm and hire a farmer to produce their food. They themselves decide about what and how their food should be produced. In their search for gaining control over knowing where your food comes from, this collective took their strategy to a whole new level, that has proven to be a revolutionary concept within the Netherlands.
Harvesting Happiness is a documentary about Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) in The Netherlands. Six CSA farmers are portrayed on their passions and ideals, the connection with their members, the struggle for land, their doubts and setbacks, and dreams about the future. The première in October in Movie-W was already a great success!
