The sun is shining and the snowy hills are spectacular, but while enjoying lunch, they are overtaken by an avalance, which changes everything. In panic the guests are fleeing in all directions. Mother Ebba calls for help, while she is trying to protect their children. Instead of saving his family. Thomas runs off. Although the avalance presented no real danger, the instinctive choice of Thomas has mayor consequences. Tension is rising between family members, as both tell their own version of what happened to others. This results in various funny incidents.
