The three sisters Sachi, Yoshino and Chika live together in a big house in Kamakura. They receive an invitation to the funeral of their father, whom they have not seen in the 15 years since he left the family. At the ceremony they meet their half-sister Suzu for the first time: a 13-year-old living in a village in a lovely, idyllic mountain region. At first, young Suzu keeps her distance. The sisters try to win her heart and convince her to come live with them. Little by little, they get to know her. Though Suzu has always tried to be the perfect daughter, she turns out to be very frustrated with her mother. Fortunately, the three sisters are there to receive her with love.
